Delhi Place proved to be the perfect place for me on my way to Grand Canyon from Phoenix! I started from Phoenix, AZ in morning and was really hungry looking for a good & fulfilling food joint for lunch; preferably Indian. Though I wasn’t expecting anything extra-ordinary in that area, I was really lucky to find this place. It not only exceeded my expectation in taste but also in quality.

I went there for lunch buffet & found both entree & sweet dishes were fresh, tasty & light. The best thing was they served fresh roti’s on the table which was just perfect  – roti’s were fresh, thin & delicious too.

In terms of space, it wasn’t a huge place. In fact some tables were pretty crammed. During lunch time, this place was filled with young guys & girls – may be due to being close the university. However there was no waiting for lunch at all.

One thing on negative side was that the person taking order almost forced us to oder drinks & it was much later he informed that drinks weren't part of the buffet. Unlike many other Indian restaurants buffet didn’t include Indian tea either (I know it's not very common but it's common enough).

Service at this place was good too. Even during the lunch these guys tooks good care in refills. Next time when I went food arrived soon & refills very timely. Restaurant owner was paying personal attention to all customers and so was his wife (I know she was his wife because he introduced her :-)).

In terms of pricing, lunch buffet was reasonably priced for an amount ~$8  and I say I had total value for money.

One thing which I always observe in any restaurant is “Cleanliness” and this place was good in that as well.

One more thing I would like to add is that I had few family members who weren’t feeling well and we were very concerned about the quality of food we could get during the travel – since we didn’t know much about the area & didn’t have recommendations from friends & family. But everyone did great with the food – in fact we came back to this place on our journey back from Grand Canyon, AZ to Phoenix.
